ABOUT THE LOCATION
Situated in Esher, Surrey, a quaint town to the southwest of London. The property has great transport links from Esher station – a six-minute walk from the apartments – which provides train services into London Waterloo in 30 minutes. The A3 and M25 are also within a few minutes’ drive. The town centre is on your doorstep, with fantastic options for food, shopping and entertainment. Home to Claremont House, with Kingston and Hampton Court nearby, Esher offers its visitors a great slice of all that Surrey has to offer. From these apartments, Sandown Racecourse is just a five-minute drive away, along with Sandown Park and Sandown Golf Centre. The American School is also a short drive from the apartment, as is the Claremont Landscape Garden – a tranquil natural oasis managed by the National Trust.

The area is now home to some excellent bars and nightlife, and is close to all the main tourist attractions and shops. It is also a major transport hub, with rail, bus, metro and ferry services. The view is constantly changing with the local ferries bustling to and fro, and the little (and large) trams trundling past the windows. As residents of very rural England our few days here were a very real pleasure. a few metres away is the covered market and food hall, with fresh veg, butchers and fishmongers aplenty, either eat at one of the many restaurants or buy fresh and cook in the well appointed kitchen.
    A small and very busy supermarket is within the station about 100 mtr away, this sells most essentials if you are too late for the mid-day market closure. A must is the gin bar behind the station and overlooking the river, the cocktails are worth every cent.
    The city is close by, easy access if you catch the elevator tram behind the market, or a very steep walk if you miss it!
    The service and assistance from the staff is second to none. I will be returning for another stay in the not too distant future.
