Over the course of the year, we had the privilege of hosting over 3,000 visitors at 40 different sites across London, southeast UK and Lisbon.

Roomspace made website improvements because we recognise the value of providing users with a seamless online experience.

2. Building a Sustainable Future: Strategies for Environmental Responsibility

In terms of Roomspace’s dedication to sustainability, this year was a major advancement.

Our commitment to minimising our environmental impact is demonstrated by the installation of 33 solar panels that power both our offices in London. Besides, switching to electric cars is in line with our continuous aspirations to use environmentally beneficial substitutes. With a set goal of replacing our current vans with electric alternatives in Q1 2024, we’re working tirelessly to create a better environment for our guests and our planet through the coming year.

Inside the apartments, we also hope to improve our guests’ stays and contribute to a more sustainable future by offering toiletries that are cruelty- and paraben-free.

3. New Leadership: Welcome Michael McDonnell

Early in the year, Roomspace was delighted to welcome Michael McDonnell as our new Managing Director. Michael is well-positioned to guide Roomspace into a new chapter of innovation and brilliance, having spent more than 20 years working for the firm and accumulating an extensive range of expertise.

In just a few months as leader, Michael has brought a new outlook to the discussion, ensuring Roomspace’s dominant position in the serviced apartment industry.

4. Expanding Our Portfolio: Buttermere House in Kingston and New Apartments Across London

Roomspace’s commitment to offering a diverse range of accommodation options led to the acquisition of “Buttermere House” in Kingston. This new block of apartments, combined with the introduction of additional units in existing locations, allows us to cater to the unique preferences and needs of our guests.

We are dedicated to providing a variety of choices to ensure every stay is tailored to your needs, and we’re always on the lookout for new locations to add to our portfolio.

5. Exemplary Guest Services: Maria’s Recognition at Situ’s Annual Awards Night

In 2023, Roomspace Serviced Apartments saw a significant 43.87% average increase in our social media presence, reflecting our commitment to meaningful connections and responsiveness to our audience.
